Well, this may sound far-fetched and crazy, but I want to try to improve my voice and get the degrees (sp?) that you need for broadway and be in wicked. I think it'd be a great experience. anyone else share this dream?
And also, I realize they're always replacing the casts, so does that mean they "lay you off", make you leave work, and really, fire you, but in a nice way whenever they want to replace casts. Los angeles just got a new elphaba, london replaced almost the whole cast, so does that mean that if you want to work there for over like three years or whatever the limit is, you can't?
ok well ya my dream is to be on b-way and do some movies or commercials. im already working on it =) cuz ppl say i have a good voice so i c a vocal coach and i also take dance classes. i need 2 find an acting class though... but yups... thats my dream!!! i just dunno if im any good enough =(
and ur 2nd paragraph.i didn't notce that they were replacing so many ppl so quickly. mayb it's bcuz of either their contract or the audience members don't really like them that much, or don't think that they're singing, acting, dancing is up to standards. but i think you can work for more than 3 years. i knw that megan hilty & eden espinosa and i think idina menzel and other ppl have worked in wicked for more than 3 years, but not continously.
and im sure your good enough, thats great that your already learning and stuff early. i once took dance classes, at my old school, but now i don't. I really want to take vocal lessons but im really shy and im trying not to be.
